Kidney & Bladder
It is alleged that a proper functioning kidney is associated with vivacity and longevity. Why is that? We know the body uses food for energy and self-repairs. After the body has taken what it needs from food, wastes are sent to the blood. But if the kidneys did not remove them, these wastes would build up in the blood and damage the body. Tough job for a tough organ.
But the kidney is more than a filtering organ. The kidney participates in whole-body homeostasis, regulating acid-alkaline balance, electrolyte concentrations, extracellular fluid volume, and regulation of blood pressure . The kidney accomplishes these homeostatic functions both independently (minerals and water) and in concert with other organs, particularly those of the endocrine system.
As it flows through your body, blood passes through your kidneys, filtering out excess fluid and other substances from your blood and then produce urine from this waste. The bladder stores the urine until time to release.
